Sophie, The Incredible True Story of the Castaway Dog by:  Emma Pearse now available at the Genoa Branch Library.

This true story is amazing and any dog lover will probably enjoy this book.  The book was a bit slow moving in parts but since the adventure took place in Australia, it is interesting to read about day to day life down under.  I always like an animal book with a happy ending and this one doesn't disappoint!
