The Man Who Quit Money by: Mark Sundeen , now available at the Genoa Branch Library.
This nonfiction book is quite fascinating! In 2000, Daniel Suelo gave away the last money he had. He doesn't barter, he doesn't steal - but he livsd without money. Of course, he lives primarily in Utah where it is warm enough to sleep outside year round. For food, he eats wild berries, plants, fish and dumpster dives. He lives a very sociable life and does a lot of volunteering. The premise is very interesting but I could never do it! I couldn't eat food from a dumpster and what woman could give up cute clothes and accesories? This book made me think about my life though and how I use my resources.
